šŖ Buzz, Birthdays & Baked Comfort: A Cozy Week in the Nest
Hey there,
Charlie turned two this weekāand we gave in to the Buzz Lightyear obsession. Heās been carrying Woody everywhere for months, often asking, āWhere is Buzz?ā So for his birthday morning, we tied a brand-new Buzz to some balloons and left him waiting in the living room like a tiny Toy Story surprise.
He ran over, thrilled⦠until he immediately said, āWhere are his wings?ā and then, āThis isnāt working!ā We didnāt buy the electronic Buzzāthe one with the sounds and the pop-out wingsāand he noticed instantly.
But by lunchtime? He was completely in love. Woody was tossed aside (sorry, cowboy), and Buzz became the main character of Charlieās entire day. It honestly felt like watching the movie play out in real life.
So this week, Iām leaning into those cozy, grateful vibes with two new recipes Iām excited to try: a Creamy Chicken and Rice Casserole that looks like the perfect warm hug on a chilly night, and our Snack of the WeekāPeanut Butter Banana Oat Bars, an easy, toddler-friendly bite that seems perfect for afternoons at home.
